How to access your parasympathetic nervous system


1) Start by concentrating on your breathing. Following the deep breathing technique


2) Repeat this for about 4 breaths


3) Next with your eyes opened, stare straight ahead of you and slightly upwards


4) As you stare straight ahead, and up, also notice everything else in the room, (keeping your eyes forward), notice as far to the right and as far to the left as possible


5) Next imagine the image of what is behind you


6) As you do this, you may notice the side vision blurring slightly as you go into your peripheral and access your parasympathetic nervous system


7) Continue breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth, in a relaxed fashion


8) Relax and enjoy or carry on with one of the other techniques
